The ocean connects us all, and The Sea Buddies is all about inspiring the next generation of ocean protectors. That’s why I’m excited to introduce two brand-new pages on our website:

The Sea Buddies Activity Bay: A Place for Ocean Fun and Learning

The Sea Buddies Activity Bay is just getting started, but I’m so excited to continue building it into a space where kids can have fun while learning about the ocean. Right now, you’ll find printable activity books and coloring pages, but there’s so much more to come.

I want to make sure that every resource shared here comes from trusted sources and helps kids engage with real conservation efforts. As I continue connecting with organizations and building partnerships, I’ll be adding even more activities, coloring pages, and interactive content—so stay tuned!

Ocean Connections: A Hub for Learning and Action

Protecting the ocean takes teamwork, and Ocean Connections is all about helping families, educators, and ocean lovers find resources, organizations, and ways to make a difference.

What You’ll Find in Ocean Connections:

✔️ Links to conservation groups and educational materials
✔️ Information on ghost gear, marine litter, and sustainable fisheries
✔️ Connections to organizations making a real impact

Building this space wouldn’t have been possible without the support and guidance from the Department of Fisheries and Oceans (DFO), who have provided valuable insights and connections to ensure the information shared is accurate and impactful. Coastal Action has also shared helpful resources and information, which are now included on the site.

Organizations and their recommended resources are featured in individual drop-down sections for easy access. Currently, DFO and Coastal Action each have their own section, and as more organizations contribute, they will be added as well.
